Christian Ramos

Tapping into subjects that aren’t normally touched on in film, naming him self “the voice of the voiceless” when it comes to his documentary work. Looking to make a difference in the structure of how films are made, and making it a more open and approachable way to bring a story to the audience.

In what ever project Christian is attached to, he takes careful watch over how to convey a story, and look at a film from two perspectives, as a film maker and as part of the audience; What ultimate impact the film will have on both sides of the proverbial “fourth wall”. Christian has worked on two documentaries touching on the subjects of Rheumatoid arthritis, and the unfairness of an over worked nurse at a local clinic. Both are short documentaries about his mother. Christian transitioned over to making feature films and web episodes with the start of the short films in 2012; one short film, the urban crime drama RECOIL: A New Take On An Old Tale in early 2012, and coming in 2013 the feature film The Lone Wolf. One episode of the upcoming zombie themed web series The Epidemic.

Born and raised in New York, Christian graduated with an AAS in Video arts and technology at The Borough of Manhattan Community College, and a B.A in film studies at Brooklyn College.
